Biography
James Green was born in 1982. He grew up in The Rhondda Valleys, South Wales. He learnt his craft as a
child; building with Lego, drawing monsters, and designing ingenious traps for catching burglars and Ninjas.
He later explored his art in more depth while pursuing a Degree at University of Wales Institute Cardiff (2002-
2005), and more recently a Masters at the Royal College of Art (2005-2007).
James’ work looks back to the art of ancient cultures, and asks how civilisations of the distant future will look
back on us through the art that we leave behind.
