Manami Hayasaki was born in Osaka, Japan, and she started making paper cut-outs when she was 10. After she
studied Japanese Traditional Painting at Kyoto City University of Arts, she moved to London and completed a
B.A. in Fine Art at Chelsea College of Art and Design in 2007. She currently lives and works in London.
